Generic Trades Training Scheme
Supported with a generous government grant, the GeTTS project targeted a multi-cultural audience of early school leavers (both younger and older) seeking to enter or re-enter the workforce – particularly apprenticeships.
Developed as an interactive self-directed e-learning program, the GeTTS resources included basic literacy and numeracy units, work-focused modules such as Customer Service and Stress Management as well as interpersonal skills development and personal health and well-being.
The resource was fully animated and engaged several characters, male and female, with various backgrounds and abilities working across a range of industries at accessible levels. The samples presented here comprise the interactive flash animations. The voice and music backgrounds which completed the presentations have been removed.
